Over 80 local authorities and voluntary adoption agencies subscribe to IAC and, as a result, benefit from access to all IAC services at preferential rates and access to some services which are exclusive to them.

But your organisation doesn't have to subscribe to use our services.

IAC's advice line can be accessed by adoption professionals and we frequently receive phone calls or emails from social workers, their managers, adoption lawyers and children's guardians. The fee for use of the advice line is £30 (+ VAT @ 17.5%) for the first half hour or part of half hour, and thereafter pro-rata at the rate of £30 (+ VAT @ 17.5%) per half hour. IAC publications are available for purchase at the listed price.

Training programmes for adoption social workers and their managers and for adoption panel members, panel advisors and administrators can be commissioned from IAC.

We provide bespoke courses:

• giving a general introduction to intercountry adoption
• focussing on the Hague Convention provisions, and
• exploring the implications for agencies of the upcoming legislative changes.

All the above services are charged at higher, non-subscriber, rates.

Please note that non-subscribing organisations cannot refer prospective adopters to IAC's Preparation Course or Adopting Again Workshop, but their applicants are welcome to attend Information Days, and Post Adoption Workshops. Additionally their families can attend the Information Day for Extended Family Members and Nominated Guardians.
