Resources & Articles
There are many useful resources that families and professionals may find useful. This include books and articles, links to other web sites, Parent Support Groups and professional journals. The web site only lists a few of the many but the Resource List page will provide you with a starting point to research further.
The Stories page is an opportunity for you to to read some real life stories of intercountry adoption from both the perspective of the adoptive parent and the perspective of the adoptee. These reflect individual experiences and it is important to remember when reading them that each adoption is unique and that all stories are historical so that the adoption journey and process in that country may be different now than when the story was written.
Articles of Interest feature often professional articles that IAC feels might be of interest and are published with the full permission of the author. Meanwhile our Book Reviews page might be of interest if you are researching further reading options.
