Adoption Support
IAC Adoption Support service offers a range of services to all parties connected with adoption where there is an international element including adopted people and birth families and intercountry adoptive parents both before and after adoption. These include information and counselling services, support groups and courses both before and after adoption. Some of these services are offered at a reduced rate for individuals whose Local Authority or Voluntary Adoption Agency subscribes to IAC. In addition to accessing services before and after adoption IAC also offers an assessment service for prospective adoptive parents who live within certain Local Authorities in the UK. The Adoption Agency Services pages provide details of this service.
